shannon winston-goewey

Shannon Winston-Goewey, J.D., M.A. serves as a Senior Attorney to Merative, the former IBM Watson Health business, where she advises Payer, Provider, and Life Sciences-focused healthcare data and analytics brands on legal and regulatory matters.  

Shannon has spent nearly two decades providing legal and regulatory guidance to leading healthcare data and analytics companies, including Micromedex, Thomson Reuters, and IBM Watson Health.  

Prior to her work with healthcare companies, Shannon provided legal counsel to telecommunications companies, including Qwest Communications, Time Warner Telecom, and AT&T Broadband.  

Shannon completed her undergraduate work at James Madison University and earned her J.D. and M.A. in International Technology and Public Policy from a dual degree program at the Sturm College of Law and Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver.  

Shannon is honored to help carry on her father’s legacy of fostering the partnership between the public and private sectors and helping others to find their footing within the health policy community.
